Creator of the radio show 'Sunday Shutdown' on Locked Online Ldn and Unity Xtra presenter, Abz, jumped on the airwaves in May 2018 and has interviewed many artists, DJs and entertainers in the UK soca scene - whether they are new or established.

 

With a passion for Caribbean music, she does what she can to push and promote soca in London to help give the genre and performers the recognition they deserve. Acting is another passion of hers. Officially, she's been in the acting game for 3 years, nominated twice for Best Web Series Actress and was part of an award winning web series called 'Natie and Jamie' which won Best Web Series Ensemble at Screen Nation's Digital is Media Awards in 2018 Although she was born in the UK, she visited Barbados annually before her teen years where her roots are and went to Crop Over, so carnival plays another big part of her life.

 

In 2016, she joined Karnival Mania for Notting Hill Carnival and has been on the road with them every year since then. Abz works hard... but plays a mas harder!
