Gemma was born in Ireland and moved to the UK in the 1990s.  She has an appreciation and love for music and dance.  Her first “Playing Mas” experience was back in 2011, with UCOM at Notting Hill carnival.  Since then, she continues to participate year on year and has been to carnival in other countries.

Whilst studying at university, Gemma knew one day she would run her own business.  She has over 10 years marketing expertise in technology, education and local government sectors.  She is also an member of the Chartered Institute of Mark​​eting (CIM), which recognises her achievements within the industry.

In 2017, Riada Consultancy was born, offering a professional and personalised service to help businesses align their business goals with their marketing strategy.
